Ethos Ethos (eller etos) henviser i retorikfaget til en afsenders troværdighed og karakter. En talers ethos er vigtig for, om et publikum vil lytte, hvordan de forstår det hørte, og hvilken vægt de tillægger talerens synspunkter.
